Shirley A. (Graves) Jones Obituary

Shirley A. (Graves) Jones, received her Heavenly reward on February 7, 2021. Shirley was an amazing woman, who was loved by everyone who knew her. She held several prestigious titles, Child of God, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She worked passionately and diligently to provide unconditional love and support to her husband, children, grandchildren, friends, and most importantly to God. She was truly a Proverb 31 woman. Our family, along with countless others were extremely blessed by her selfless care and affection.

Mom follows her mother, Ollie O. (Coolie) Graves, her father, Leonidas A. Graves, her sister, Ginger Graves, and the love of her life, Richard A. Jones in death. Mom is survived by her three children: her Courageous and Strong daughter Jennifer T. (Tracy) Unger, her Abiding and Loving son Adam M. (Tara) Jones, and her son, Brad A. (Vicky) Jones. Mom has several grandchildren whom she absolutely adored, Devin (Jay) Delgado, Kaitlyn Unger, Hanna Unger, Ashley Jones, Dalton Jones, Ethan Jones, Shelby Cottrill, and Jake (Michaela) Cottrill. Mom was extremely excited to welcome her first Great grandchild, who is due to arrive at any time.

Over the year’s mom laid claim to many of her children’s friends: Chris Jones, Jesse Baker, Dane Smith, Tony Rinehart, Jeremy Woods, Missy Letche, Lori Hyden and many others which are too many to name. She loved them all as her own and would constantly inquire about how they were doing. Because mom was such a caring and loving person, she wanted me to share with all who may read this that she desires that you would have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Please surrender your heart to Him and He will forgive you and reward you with eternal life. Continue to pursue the Holiness of God.

Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe Ohio. There will be a family viewing and service at WARE FUNERAL HOME, followed by a graveside committal service at Green Summit Cemetery outside of Adelphi Ohio.
