Suanne Merriman Obituary

Suanne Merriman, 76, of Chillicothe, passed 12:19 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Liberty Village unexpectedly.

She was born October 17, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Carl and Patricia Ann Barnes.

Surviving are brothers James “Rick” (Kathi) Barnes, of Chillicothe, Brian N. Barnes, of Ft. Myers, FL, and Barry E. (Kim) Barnes, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and lifelong friends, Jannie DeBord and Sally May Smith, both of Chillicothe. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rockford “Rocky” Merriman and a sister, Cindi Jo Barnes.

Suanne graduated, Cum Laude, from Ohio University with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

A private graveside service will be held in Grandview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
