Obituary
Sytha Rayer, 80, of Chillicothe died 9:57 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at her home.
She was born July 11, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late William and LaVetta Baker Tomlinson. On July 30, 1969 she married Larry K. Rayer who survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Rebecca (Tracy) McCoy of Blacklick and Laura (Ryan) Hawkins of Holly Springs, N.C.; grandchildren, Isabel McCoy, Jacob Hawkins and YeRin Hawkins; great grandson, Christian Hawkins; sister, Wilma Hoffman of Kentucky. She was predeceased by granddaughter, Grace Hawkins.
Sytha was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Ross County Senior Citizens Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society 2308 Lick Run Rd. #A, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dr. Jason Link officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
