Tereasa Nelson (McNeal)

     Tereasa Nelson, 58, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:28 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born May 31, 1967, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late James A. and Gale R. Johnson McNeal.

     Surviving are her husband, Avery Nelson; daughters, Honey (Jonathan) Hunter and Indica Medley; grandchildren, Ista McNeal and Brielle Stokes who were the light of her life; a sister, Candy (Mark) Putterbaugh; and lifelong friend, Violet Pettit. 

     Tereasa was a member of the Chillicothe Moose Lodge 1626.

     Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, April 24, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor J. Troy Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from

6 to 8 Thursday.
