He was born August 2, 1955, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Ralph (1978) and Juanita Newman Cook (1995).
Terry attended Chillicothe High School until at the age of 17 he enlisted and proudly served in the United States Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughter Bianca and son in law Brian Walsh, grandchildren Richard, Austin (Whitney), Dawson (Breann) and Payton Walsh. A man he raised as his own Josh Ballard, sister Dreama Green, nephews Philip Beverly and Jeremy Kerns, and many others. Also surviving, his brother, Bobby Cook. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Downer.
Terry was engaged to his longtime love and companion, Ursula Sue Keller and loved her children Gladys Howard, Lavada Brust, George and Shay Daniel, Martha Wilson (2021), and Donald Daniel (Don Don, 2022) as his own.
He had many lifelong friends whom he thought very highly of and spent a great deal of time with throughout his life including his closest friends Keith and Mike Renner, Jeff and Amy Walls and family, Tom Bouillion and Steve Sheets.
Terry was skilled at many different things from painting and construction to any and all sorts of mechanics. He loved to sit with his lifelong friends, listen to some good music, play the spoons, relax and have a beer or 12. He worked hard and sometimes played harder, was generous and hardly met a stranger. He will be remembered fondly.
