Terry Lane Soummers

Terry Lane Soummers, 36, of Chillicothe, died at his residence from long term side effects from cancer treatments he had as a child. 

      He was born June 5th, 1987, in Ross County, to Vickie (Sam) Williams. 

     Surviving are his mom and dad Vickie and Sam Williams; a brother, Timothy Steven Soummers; sisters by marriage, Dottie, Paula, Sherry and Susan, all from Girard, OH.  Also, he was blessed with 2 wonderful nephews, Carson and Bryson Soummers, who he loved with all his heart!  They were his world! Terry was also survived by an uncle, Johnny (Linda) Cochenour; three aunts, Debbie (Howard) Kellough, Kathy (Alvin) Ayers and Linda Soummers; many many cousins; and extra special people who was in his life, Cora Frazier and Marty Wallace.  Terry was predeceased by his grandparents; an uncle; and 4 cousins. 

     Terry was a former employee of Goodwill and Wendy’s.  He loved his friends and jobs.  He was his mom’s shadow and wherever she was, he was also. 

     This last year, Terry had many health issues.  He was so unbelievably strong and so brave just as he has been his whole life. 

      Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Hocker officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
