Thomas G. Dixon

     Thomas G. Dixon, 84, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:08 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in Ohio’s Hospice, Wooster, Ohio, following an extended illness.

     He was born June 24, 1941, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Gordon and Edna Gunlock Dixon.  On June 25, 1961, he married the former Patricia S. Walker who passed December 23, 2020. 

     Surviving are sons, Thomas W. (Robin) Dixon, of West Portsmouth and Troy C. (Cass) Dixon, of Wooster; grandchildren, Seth (Brittney) Dixon, Hannah (Uriah) VanDyke, Grahm Dixon and Marin Dixon; a great grandson, Bo Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, Mike Dixon and David Dixon. 

     Tom graduated from Chillicothe High School.  He retired from the Mead Corporation where he had worked for 39 years and following retirement had also worked for Total Maintenance.   Tom was a member of Chillicothe Baptist Church and was a volunteer at the Chillicothe VA Golf Course.    

     Funeral services will be held from 1 p.m. Tuesday January 27, 2026 in at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kevin Ridder officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
