Timothy Jay Hill

   Timothy Jay Hill, 64, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2022 and went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ at 2:55 p.m.

   Tim’s parents were the late Carl and Bessie Hill of Chillicothe. Tim has one sibling, Steven Hill (Jenny), 3 nieces (Andrea, Jordyn, Sydney), 2 nephews (Ty and Brigham) and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and greats. Tim loved his family (in-laws and out-laws, lol) Tim had a great sense of humor that was infectious to anyone he was around.

   In July of 1994, Tim married the love of his life, Kimberly Skaggs. They celebrated 27 wonderful years of marriage last year. The couple loved to go on adventures to state parks and enjoy God’s beauty in nature.

   Tim was a loving husband and Godly man. He was member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served in numerous roles (trustee, deacon, youth leader, and Sunday School teacher). Tim also coached football in the Scioto Valley Youth League for 45 years (teams- Rams, Bills, Titans), and over 35 years in Pony League baseball (team-Kiwanis) and 3 years in the Scioto Valley Youth League baseball (team- Wendy’s Merchants) Tim retired from Ross County Engineering Department after 34 years of service and worked part-time doing taxes. It is Tim’s desire that everyone would accept Jesus Christ as Savior and those who have would continue to “Carry the Light”

   A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Robb Fowler officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Friday.
