Timothy J. Peters

     Timothy J. Peters, 63, of Chillicothe, died 7:36 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     He was born August 6, 1958, in Chillicothe, to the late Herman and Marie Fyffe Peters. On January 8, 1977, he married the former Melanie S. Kunz, who died January 13, 2009.

     Surviving are a daughter, Christina (A.J.) Bernard, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kayla Crowe, Hailee Crowe and Andrew Bernard; brothers, Bob (Dana) Peters, Frankfort, Jim (Pam) Peters, of Chillicothe, and Buddy Peters, of Eagle Point, OR; sisters, Janet Williamson, of Waverly, and Denise Williams, of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by an infant son, Timothy J. Peters; and a sister, Marsha Hoselton.

     He was a retired employee from Glatfelter. Tim was a volunteer Firefighter and EMT for Springfield and Liberty Township for over 20 years.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with his son-in-law, A.J. Bernard officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
