Timothy Shane Robertson

     Timothy “Shane” Robertson, 51, of Yellowbud, passed at 1:53 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 in Grant Medical Center, Columbus following a brief illness. 

     He was born December 21, 1973, in Ross County, Ohio, to Charles Edward “Tim” Robertson and Susan Swiggett Robertson.  On September 30, 2023, he married, the love of his life, the former Shelby S. Sanford who survives. 

     In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Sue (Spike) Spears; a stepson, Thomas Ridings; a sister, Dusti Robertson; a brother, Grady Warren; a niece, Danica (Mark) Barnes; a nephew, Drake (Lauren Gray) Robertson; a great niece, Amora Robertson; uncles, Russ Swiggett and Rod Poole; aunts, Debbie Jester and Sharon Swiggett; and his faithful companion, his dog, “Mar”.  Shane was predeceased by his father, Charles “Tim” Robertson; aunts, Patty Poole, Beverly Moran Bratt; and uncles, Rick and Ron Swiggett. 

     Shane loved to play bass guitar.  Over the years he had played in many bands but most recently had played bass for Union North.  Shane was a good friend to many and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.   

     A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.
