Timothy D. Wingo, Jr.

Timothy D. Wingo, Jr., 49, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Chillicothe, passed at 7:16 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness.

     He was born March 16, 1976, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Timothy D. Wingo, Sr. and Cheryl D. Lemley. 

     Surviving are his children, Timothy (Macey Dawn) Wermuth, of Chillicothe, Janelle Hughes, of Chillicothe, Marilyn Bellemoore, of Lancaster, and Tristen (fiancée, Katelyn Smith) Burd, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ayla Hughes, Vaylan Wermuth, Nylana Wermuth, and Zyaire Wermuth; a brother, Jon Anderson, of Columbus; a sister, Chantelle Lemley, of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Jayde Hughes. 

     Tim was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Zion Baptist Church. 

     A celebration of his life will be held 12 noon Friday, April 11, 2025 in the Lifting Up Jesus Church with Pastor Obadiah Harris officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
