Timothy G. Slaughter, 71, of Chillicothe, died 4:19 a.m. Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born January 1950, in Chillicothe, to the late Everett E. and Virginia A. (Hilsheimer) Slaughter.
He is survived by his companion and caregiver, Beatrice “Bea” (Coonrod) Reed, of Chillicothe; children, Christina Ferguson, of Columbus, Anita Slaughter, of Nashville, TN, Lisha Slaughter, of Orlando, FL and Dawn (Luke) Tuttle, of Columbus; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Mike Slaughter, of Chillicothe and Daniel (Kimberly) Slaughter, of Hillsboro; sisters, Sharon Slaughter, of Frankfort and Jennifer Slaughter, of Chillicothe; aunts, Ellen Hilsheimer and Rebecca (Larry) Roush, both of Circleville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and extended family Mark and Jason Coonrod. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Slaughter and nephew, William Slaughter.
The family wants to extend a “thank you” to the staff of Adena Hospice and Misty Coonrod for the loving care they have given to Timothy.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Huntington Township Cemetery with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
