Tonya Jenkins

     Tonya Jenkins, 37, of Chillicothe, passed 5:20 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

     She was born March 14, 1984, in Ross County, Ohio, to Jeffrey D. and Candace K. McAbee Compher, both whom survive.  On June 19, 2021, she married Ronald A. Jenkins who survives.

     In addition to her husband and parents, surviving are sons, Joshua Whitaker, James Whitaker and Jacob Whitaker, all of Chillicothe; a sister, Melissa Compher, of Chillicothe; brothers, Joseph (Jessica) Compher, of Kingston, Samuel Compher, of Chillicothe and Chad (Lissi) Compher, of Frankfort; grandparents, Doug and Marge McAbee and Carolyn and Dave Grabb, all of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Kay Compher and maternal great grandmother, Louise Williams.

     Tonya worked as a Patient Care Tech at Ohio Health Berger in Circleville for 7 years.  She enjoyed camping with family, fishing, crafting and doing puzzles.

     Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chris Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.  Mask will be required.
