Vada B Adams

     Vada B. Adams, 66, of Chillicothe, passed at 2:36 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus unexpectedly.

     She was born August 14, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Richard G. and Audrey Williamson McQuirt.  On July 5, 1978, she married Robin Adams who survives. 

     Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie A. and Chad E. Willis, of Kingston; a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan R. and Treasa M. Adams, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Joey (Kelsey) Adkins, Tyler (Morgan) Adkins, Emily (Slate Kellis) Willis, Mason (Holly Herman) Willis and Caleb Adams; great grandchildren, Damion, Carson, Ellen, Caiden and Warren; brothers, Richard (Joan) McQuirt, of Chillicothe, John (Ronnie) McQuirt, of McArthur and Gene (Melanie) McQuirt, of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sonia Fitch.

     Vada was a dedicated 4-H advisor for many years and loved supporting the 4-H youth at the Ross County Fair.  More than anything, she loved spending time making memories with her husband, children and grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Matt Ramey officiating.  Burial will follow in Dunkard Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
