Violet M. Mowrey Obituary

Violet M. Mowrey, 76, of Chillicothe, was called home at 4:49 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 in Valley View Care Center following an extended illness.

She was born April 14, 1945, in Ross County, to the late William and Ruth Stoops Mowrey.

Surviving are a son, Hank (Kimberly) Spencer, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Karla Stewart, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Chase Spencer, James (Sandra) Withrow, Dillon Spindler and Daniel Atwood; great grandchildren, Brayden and Alan Spencer; sisters, Barbara Conley, of Laurelville and Nina Graves, of Frankfort; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by former husband, Michael Sommers; sons, Gary Spencer and Tim Clemmons; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
