Walter M. Trimble, 81, of Chillicothe, died 6:12 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born December 13, 1939, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Ellis and Vallie Beekman Trimble. On May 1, 1959, he married the former Sharon R. Payne who survives.
Also surviving are children, Michael (Paula) Trimble, Deborah (Bruce) Morris and Kevin (Carlene) Trimble, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jessica, Nathanial, Caleb, Johnny, Tara, Christopher, Whitlee, Joshua and Samantha; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, David (Judy) Trimble, of Chillicothe; sisters, Carol Jackson, of Chillicothe and Dorothy Corrigan, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Elliott and brothers, Wayne, Roger, Ronnie and Kenneth Trimble.
Walter was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from the Mead Corporation where he had worked for 43 years and was a member of U.P.I.U. Local 731.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
